Jail Ministry exits to provide tools for equipping committeed volunteers with skills and credentials necessary to effectively minister to individuals who are incarcerated, bringing them the gospel of truth, hope and salvation.

Wayne Smith: A Life of Faith and Service
Wayne Smith is a dedicated servant of God with over 60 years of evangelism experience. He has served in various ministries, including Director of Bus, Children’s, and Youth Ministries, and has been a pastor for over 35 years.
Ordained with the United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI) for 45 years, Wayne has made a significant impact in Jail and Nursing Home Ministries, serving as the Kentucky District Jail Ministry Coordinator for six years. He has also helped launch several mission churches.
In retirement, Wayne continues to serve in nursing homes and jails, setting up prayer stations on Saturdays for those in need.
His greatest pride is his family-he is a loving father to five children and a doting grandfather to 12 grandchildren and Wazzee of 11 who adore him. His commitment to family and friends remains his top priority.
